
Essex Pride is returning to Chelmsford's Central Park on Saturday July 9th - with a stellar line up of entertainment!
Essex Pride brings together the whole community in a festival of fun, entertainment and colour.
This year's event takes place on Saturday 9th July in Central Park, Chelmsford from midday until late. Headlining the main stage will be The Voice finalist Lydia Lucy along with chart stars Stooshe and nineties favourites S Club Party.
Alongside the main acts will be top DJs as well as a wide range of sideshows and workshops and the Essex Pride Dog Show, where your pooch can compete for categories including Waggiest Tail, Best Dressed, and Best in Show whilst younger Pride-goers will enjoy a circus-themed funfair.

From British classics to Chinese Wok n’ Roll, and two well-stocked bars will be operating on site to keep Pride attendees in good spirits.
Getting There
If you're travelling by car, the A12 links Chelmsford and East Anglia to the M25, which is only 15 minutes away from the site at Central Park, Chelmsford. The city has over 5000 parking spaces, and there are two Park and Ride sites, at Chelmer Valley and Sandon Park. If you are coming by train, the Pride site is just a ten minute walk from Chelmsford station. First buses operate throughout Essex, with many stops around the park area.
