Cabot Circus Security Alert

After a security alert in Cabot Circus, police evacuate Bristol city centre and close surrounding roads.

Cabot Circus has been evacuated following a suspicious package found earlier this afternoon. Police have evacuated a 100meter radius around the busy shopping centre causing extremely heavy traffic throughout Bristol City Centre.

The following roads remain closed:

  • Temple Way
  • Old Market Street
  • Bond Street
  • Lower Castle Street
  • Penn Street
  • Horsefair
